Most people create art based on what they know, who they know, or what has happened to them. Just the other day I set out to replicate a painting in photography form. I looked at historical paintings and artwork that was famous. I came across the painting, "Dogs playing poker", and became inspired! Along with loving photography I am an avid poker player, its just fun to do. There's a lot to it. Anyhow, after the plan to recreate this image came into my head the rest pretty much just came together. I involved some great friends to help me out with props and poses to recreate the image. But, because I was drawn to this image based off of my experience and other interests, creativity emerged. This was the end result of a photographic replication of dogs playing poker cheating. Thanks to all involved!
